Exhibit McConnell Arts Center January 6 – March 6, 2011: Salrin’s photography, is distinguished by rusted metal, peeling paint, or just the grime of an empty warehouse. “Too often the effects of time are viewed negatively by misrepresentation and are ultimately misunderstood. I see character, I see composition, I see texture, I see color, I see beauty, I see life. Ultimately, it is my ambition to convey these aesthetics visually into an intriguing photograph.”

ROY G BIV Gallery for Emerging Artists Presents IMAGEOHIO 9 : ROY G BIV Gallery presents ImageOHIO 9, a showcase of contemporary Ohio photographers, at the Fort Hayes Shot Tower Gallery from January 19, 2009 to February 27, 2009. 

ImageOHIO 9 was juried by Paula Tognarelli, Executive Director and Curator, Griffin Museum of Photography.

The Opening Reception will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm.  

The Shot Tower Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and is located on the campus of Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center at 546 Jack Gibbs Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43215.  The Shot Tower Gallery will be closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

JULY 2008:
Columbus Arts Festival 2009: I have been awarded an invite back to next year's Columbus Arts Festival. Festival Director Katie Laux Lucas & Jennifer Sadler Festival Coordinator:  "Congratulations! According to our on-site jury scores, your work Photography placed in the top 20% of all the 2008 Columbus Arts Festival participants! With this score, you are automatically invited to participate in the 2009 show." This is great news and can't wait to particiapte again. See you all next year at the show.
JUNE 2008:
64 Square Feet will be hosting an Open House this Friday for their new Columbus, OH location. On display in their show room are 6 of my photographs.

APR. 2008:
Accepted into the Upper Arlington Arts Festival on September 1st 2008. Labor Day. I am extremely excited to also have made this show as well. The U.A. Festival is a great show with many talented artist. My booth location is #089. Refer to map.
FEB. 2008:
I am pleased to annouce that I will be exhibiting in the 2008 Columbus Arts Festival : on June 6, 7 ,& 8. Click here to see the Festival's new location in the Discovery Disctrict. Another show I am extremely excited to be participating in. More details to come when available. Will be exhibiting my entire body of work at the Stuart's Opera House in Nelsonville, Ohio: February 29th - April 30th. An exciting show for me which I am very excited to be a part of - please be certain to come and visit my show. Opening reception will be Friday, February 29th. Click here for a photo of the exhibit.
DEC. 2007:
Unfortunately I will not be exhibiting in the 2008 Delaware Arts Festival: May 17th & 18th due to scheduling conficts. Last year I received the "People's Choice Award" and was invited back for this years event.
AUG. 2007:
I have been accepted into the in the 61st Annual Zanesville Art Exhibition Aug.23 - Sept. 30th. This will be held at the Zanesville Art Center. "A Table Between Friends" & "Redbird Undercover" both were accepted into the exhibit .
JUN. 2007:

Accepted into the 2007 Ohio State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition. This is my 5th consecutive year that I will be exhibiting my photography in this show! I also won a prize award for "A Table Between Friends" (shown above) photograph. As well as placing "2nd Best of Show" in the amatuer division.
MAY 2007:
I have been invited to exhibit my photography at Black Box Gallery in Marion, OH as a featured artist in September 2007. Stayed tuned for more details.

Received the "Peoples Choice Award" in the 2007 Delaware Arts Festival: May 19th & 20th.
